About Risk Analysis Services (“RAS”)
Risk Analysis Services delivers deeper, more exhaustive analysis—analysis that goes beyond surface-level analytics to uncover patterns, and insights that materially affect outcomes. Stronger negotiating at insurance renewal discussions and where to focus to reduce future losses.
RAS was co-founded by professionals with deep, real-world experience in risk analysis, data interpretation, and business decision-making—developed over decades of hands-on work with complex organizations.
Risk Analysis Services is built on experience, judgment, and a shared belief that important decisions require more than standard reports and technically correct summaries that fail to specifically explain what to focus on to improve operations going forward.
Built on Experience and Analytical Depth
Across industries and decades, Alan Cantor repeatedly encountered the same issue: analytics that were technically sound, but not sufficiently deep to reveal the nuances that lead to more credible projections and sound decisions.
Risk Analysis Services was created to address that.
Our work focuses on:
- Identifying hidden risk patterns buried within historical data
- Challenging assumptions embedded in conventional analysis
- Delivering insights that are defensible, practical, and decision-ready

Alan Cantor

Alan Cantor was a pioneer in the field of risk analysis, with professional experience spanning decades. Throughout his career, Alan has focused on uncovering risks, inconsistencies, and patterns that traditional analytics repeatedly overlook.
His work has been defined by:
- Deep, investigative data analysis
- Exhaustive examination of multiple slices of complex data sets
- Identifying frequency and severity patterns missed by conventional analyses
Alan’s analytical approach is disciplined, evidence-driven, and independent. He believes meaningful insight does not come from surface-level summaries, but from going deeper into the data—examining it from multiple perspectives to uncover patterns and outcomes others miss.
Alan provides the analytical foundation of Risk Analysis Services. His experience and passion drive the firm’s mission to deliver accurate, defensible, high-impact insight into complex, high-stakes decisions. Larry Rudwick
Active Investor
Larry Rudwick brings decades of experience as a business investor, strategic advisor, and operator, working closely with companies that demonstrate strong potential and long-term upside.
Larry invested in Risk Analysis Services because of the depth of experience, pioneering expertise, and passion Alan Cantor brings—and because he believes the firm is uniquely positioned to deliver insights others do not.
Prior to co-founding RAS, Larry was the co-founder and President of Production Research Corporation, which became the leading source for wheelchair parts and accessories in the United States, achieving more than 45% market share.
That business was acquired in 1996 by the industry’s number one wheelchair manufacturer.
After the acquisition, Larry became a certified executive business coach and consultant, helping numerous organizations improve performance, decision-making, and strategic execution.
Today, RAS is Larry’s primary focus. He is responsible for:
- Working closely with the firm’s professional help: attorneys, CPAs, web developers, etc.
- Leading sales and marketing strategy and implementation
- Identifying and evaluating consultants for collaboration
- Supporting strategic growth and business development initiatives
Complementary Leadership
Together, Alan and Larry bring complementary strengths:
- Deep analytical and risk expertise
- Business leadership, investment, and strategic insight
- Practical understanding of how complex decisions are made and acted upon
This combination allows Risk Analysis Services to deliver insights that are analytically rigorous, relevant, contextual, and actionable.
Our Approach
Depth. Independence. Clarity.
Our approach reflects the standards applied throughout the founders’ professional careers:
- Depth — going beyond surface-level analytics
- Independence — objective analysis without predetermined outcomes
- Clarity — insights communicated in clear, decision-ready terms
We focus on the quality of insight, often delivering results that save clients hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars in premiums and reductions in required collateral.
Our work is supported by a complete audit trail—from raw input data through data preparation, loss analysis, loss development, and forecasting across varying self-insured retentions and multiple slices of historical data.
Our process often involves creating dozens to hundreds of analysis reports, supported by proprietary tools that distill complexity into insights that decision-makers can confidently act upon.
